Look-and-Feel and Ease of Navigation

Our goal is to make our site look and feel like a desk-top application with floating panels, dialog boxes and "drag-and-drop" functions found in most contemporary design and business software. Throughout the site we attempt to set up most options or functions as "one-click" or "drag–and-drop", and create tactile pointing actions that emulate hand gestures, so that our application is future-proof for the next generation of touch screen devices and ready for growing mobile internet business opportunities.

Interactive sorting function
There is a unique interactive sorting function on the site that allows more advanced sorting of search results. This caters for users who require more complex multi-column sorting of results using simple user-interface objects that users simply drag and drop.

Hiding extra information
Due to the limited viewable space on a typical browser, there are plenty of mouse-over effects (pop up speech bubbles, curtain blinds etc) on various buttons and screen objects that will reveal hidden details when hovered upon. This also helps make the site more interactive, less cluttered and visually attractive with a simple layout.
The site speaks a consistent design language, using standard shapes and icons, easily recognisable graphics and consistent colours wherever possible so that buttons and links are easy to interpret and are consistent throughout the site.
